Axe Throwing League

Axe Alley, G-Force’s Axe Throwing Experience, has been live for a few weeks now, and it’s been a smash hit! Folks throughout Richmond have flocked to our axe arena to take learn and how to throw and take on their opponents. Like everything else with G-Force though; we want to kick it up a notch! We’re excited to announce the G-Force Axe Throwing league!

G-Force Axe Throwing League

Compete in a head-to-head round robin, axe throwing competition to find who the best axe throwers in Richmond are!

Here are the details:

Who: 8 2-person teams of Axe Throwers, experienced and inexperienced welcomed

You must be 21 years or older to participate in Axe Throwing!

What: Round Robin Axe Throwing League

Where: Axe Alley, G-Force Karts

When: Wednesdays at 7pm on the following dates:

First Week: Wednesday 08/29
Second Week: Wednesday 09/05
Third Week: Wednesday 09/12
Final Week: Wednesday 08/22

How much: $70 per player

The winners of each night get to take home 2 gift cards (one per player) to Texas Roadhouse worth $25 each.

On the final night, all league players get free, fresh, in-house-made pizza. The winners get a trophy from G-Force Karts, not to mention Fame, Glory, and the recognition as the first champions of Axe Throwing in Richmond!

If you’re a regular reader of Richmond BizSense, the cat is out of the bag: We’re launching Axe Alley… TODAY!

The sport craze sweeping the nation has finally hit Richmond, and we’re proud to be the host! Our Axe Throwing attraction, “Axe Alley,” is now live at G-Force Karts!

Axe Throwing – Easy to Learn, Tough to Master!

While learning to throw is fairly simple (and we’ll be glad to help teach you!), proficiency in this sport requires a high level of skill and talent to achieve! Don’t let that discourage you from coming out though! Just getting the axe to stick one time is a ton of fun… and you’ll love seeing yourself progress from a green newbie to an axe slinging lumberjack over the course of your first session. Check out a few of the videos below for some primers before you head up.

Axe Throwing Safety

Axe throwing is a safe and fun hobby, but it pays to remember that you’re holding something used to cut down trees. When you race down the track in a high speed kart, you wear a helmet, don’t goof around, and drive as safe as you can. It’s about safety and being cautious – and axe throwing is know different. Treat the axes with respect and be mindful of your safety and the safety of everyone around you, and you’re more likely to get injured sitting on the couch. It’s that simple!
